We’ll connect through an introductory call to talk about your plans, priorities, and what matters most to you on your wedding day. After the call, I’ll send over a draft of my contract so that you can have it on hand while talking to other photographers and/or making your final decision. I tend not to follow up after sending the contract, not because I don't care to, but simply because I want you to work with your best fit. I'll let you know if someone else inquires about your date and the draft of your contract can serve as the final should you choose to book with me.Once the contract is signed on your end, I'll counter-sign and send through an invoice for the booking retainer. When payment is received, you'll get a confirmation email with what to expect as we get closer to your wedding day and we'll start to look at dates for your engagement session.A month before your wedding, I'll send you a quick questionnaire to go over any final details with you.
My goal is to blend into the wedding and capture what’s happening.I’m always ready with a camera (or two or three) in hand, anticipating both the big and small moments while paying close attention to the details that matter to you.I come prepared with professional cameras, lenses, lighting, film, and backups to make sure your day is documented seamlessly. All digital images are recorded to dual SD cards, so your photos are backed up instantly.
To keep your memories safe, every photo is backed up to multiple hard drives and secure cloud storage shortly after your wedding.Within one week, you’ll receive an edited preview gallery with select images.Your full set of hand-edited, high-resolution digital photos and film scans will be delivered within four weeks through an easy-to-share online gallery, licensed to print and ready to download. Not long after, you’ll receive a custom 80-page softcover coffee table magazine featuring select images from your celebration.
Family portrait sessions should feel like the rest of your day: easygoing, meaningful, and unforced. We’ll plan ahead and build a short list of must-have groupings to keep things moving smoothly. That way, you and your family can be present, have fun, and jump right back into the celebration.
Absolutely, if you’d like them. When it comes to weddings, I prioritize what matters most to you and how you want to experience their day. Some couples want just a few quick portraits. Others block off 20–30 minutes to step away together throughout the day for some natural, editorial-style portraits. And some skip them entirely. It’s totally up to you, and something we’ll talk through and shape together leading up to the wedding.
No matter how we look at it, wedding photographers are essentially strangers entering your relationship for a brief moment in time. I can either paint over how you naturally interact with a broad brush shaped by preconceived notions, or we can trust that the way you connect is already what makes all of this so special. That subtle shift in perspective removes the performative nature of traditional wedding photography and gives you the freedom to be fully present.I don’t orchestrate scenes or stage photos, I observe, anticipate, trust, and document what’s already happening (because it's awesome). The result is a collection of images that feel honest and recognizable to you.
I take a calm, unobtrusive approach, blending into the flow of the day and documenting your wedding as it unfolds. My goal is to capture honest moments by helping people feel comfortable enough around me to be themselves. I’ve been called human Prozac on more than one occasion.

Meeting beforehand isn’t required, but I highly recommend it.Feeling comfortable with your photographer goes a long way, and making sure that you're comfortable around me and the camera is really my most important job. That’s why I include a documentary style day-in-the-life engagement session: it's a chance to spend some time together in the places that are meaningful to your relationhip, and for us to get to know each other, and share some food and drinks.
