Before booking, we’ll connect through an introductory call or email to talk about your plans, priorities, and what matters most to you on your wedding day.If we decide to work together, I’ll send over a contract and we’ll dive deeper into your plans. Getting to know each other is an important part of creating photos that feel true to you.As your wedding day approaches, I’ll review your timeline and help you build a family photo list that fits seamlessly into the flow of the day.We can also meet up for a complimentary engagement session ahead of your wedding date. It’s a great chance to get comfortable in front of the camera, and maybe grab a coffee or a bite to eat together.
My goal is to blend in and capture what’s happening naturally. I don’t interrupt moments or prompt you unless it’s necessary.I’m always ready with a camera (or two or three) in hand, anticipating both the big and small moments while paying close attention to the details that matter.I come prepared with professional cameras, lenses, lighting, film, and backups to make sure your day is documented seamlessly. All digital images are recorded to dual SD cards, so your photos are backed up instantly.
To keep your memories safe, every photo is backed up to multiple hard drives and secure online storage shortly after your wedding.Within 48 hours, you’ll receive a highlight gallery with a selection of edited images.Your full set of hand-edited, high-resolution digital photos and film scans will be delivered within 4 weeks through an easy-to-share personalized gallery, licensed to print and ready to download. Not long after, you’ll receive a custom-designed softcover coffee table magazine featuring select images from your celebration.
Family portrait sessions should feel like the rest of your day: easygoing, meaningful, and unforced. We’ll plan ahead and build a short list of must-have groupings to keep things moving smoothly. That way, you and your loved ones can stay present, have fun, and jump right back into the celebration without missing a beat.
Absolutely, if you’d like them. When it comes to weddings, I prioritize what matters most to each couple and how they want to experience their day. Some couples want just a few quick portraits. Others block off 20–30 minutes to step away together for some natural, editorial-style portraits. And some skip them entirely. It’s totally up to you, and something we’ll talk through and shape together leading up to the wedding.
No matter how you slice it, wedding photographers are essentially strangers entering a relationship for a brief moment in time. We can either paint over how people naturally interact with a broad brush shaped by preconceived notions, or we can trust that the way you connect is already what makes all of this so special. That subtle shift in perspective removes the performative nature of traditional wedding photography and gives you the freedom to be fully present, creating space for your experience to feel truly lived.I don’t orchestrate scenes or stage photos, I observe, anticipate, trust, and document what’s already unfolding. The result is a collection of images that feel natural, honest, and real.
I take a calm, unobtrusive approach, blending into the natural flow of your wedding to document your day as it unfolds. My goal is to capture real moments without interfering by helping people feel comfortable enough around me to be themselves. I’ve been called human Prozac on more than one occasion.

Meeting beforehand isn’t required, but I do highly recommend it. It’s a great way to get to know each other and make sure we’re aligned on what matters most to you on your wedding day.Feeling comfortable with your photographer goes a long way, especially since I’ll be with you more than almost anyone else throughout the day. That’s also why I offer a complimentary engagement session: it's a chance to spend some time together, and for you to get familiar with me and the camera so you can show up on your wedding day feeling fully present.

My editing style is true-to-life. I aim to reflect the natural shifts in light and environment throughout the day, so your photos look and feel like your actual wedding. My digital color grading closely mirrors the film stocks I use: Kodak Portra (160, 400, 800), Kodak Gold 200, Fujifilm 400H, and Kodak Tri-X. Every image is edited by hand, with care given to color, tone, and consistency across the full gallery. For film work, I partner with a highly reputable lab for processing and high-resolution scanning to ensure the highest possible quality.
The space where you get ready can play a big role in your wedding photos, and your day overall.Choose a spot with natural light and enough room to move and feel comfortable. If your venue isn’t ideal, consider getting ready at home, a family member’s place, an Airbnb, or a hotel suite with large windows. At the end of the day, feeling at ease matters more than perfect light.
