The most meaningful photos happen when no one knows they’re being taken. Before documenting weddings, my journey began with street photography and behind-the-scenes work on film sets—two observational disciplines that taught me how to anticipate moments and the value of staying present.
I’ve always believed the most meaningful moments a photographer can capture are the ones untouched by their own influence. Weddings naturally carry their own kinetic energy, something that can’t be manufactured. As photographers, we can interrupt it, direct it, and reshape it—or we can stay present, trust it, and let it unfold.
When I look back at photos from my life, it’s the candid moments that bring memories and emotions flooding back. The pictures taken by and with family and friends. The ones that truly stick. That’s exactly how I want your wedding photos to feel decades from now: like a warm, familiar hug.
It's why I take an intentional, documentary-style approach, making images that stand alone as works of art and, together, tell a story that truly reflects your relationship, your family, and your closest friends.
If this resonates, I’d love to hear about your wedding plans.
